Erin C. Flynn

Erin C. Flynn's Profile Image

Erin Flynn first thought of becoming a lawyer when she overheard her kindergarten teacher tell her parents she would make a great one. But it was during law school orientation, when she heard a presentation from the founder of the Family Law Assistance Project, that Erin became committed to family law. She has never looked back.

During her legal studies, Erin interned for the Family Law Division of Macomb Circuit Court, where she learned to better appreciate both the technical and emotional sides of the law. Erin saw firsthand how the best professionals weigh the facts and apply personal judgment to resolve each case with the best possible outcome.

At the Family Law Assistance Project in Auburn Hills, Erin was mentored by the orientation speaker who had inspired her to practice family law. She worked with staff attorneys to represent low-income clients in family law and domestic violence matters. That experience helped her appreciate how each client’s personality and past experiences shape their attitudes toward the legal process.

Erin’s years with a Northville family law firm provided valuable litigation skills training and taught her that divorcing couples need time to process their past emotions and experiences before they are ready to look to the future.

At NSSS&B, Erin’s practice covers all aspects of family law, including divorce, paternity, child custody and parenting time, as well as child support and spousal support. She is skilled in mediation and uses her training and insight to help couples find the most cooperative, least adversarial resolution. Clients appreciate Erin’s direct, no-nonsense approach that helps them to see the big picture and move forward with their lives.

Based in both Ann Arbor and Oakland County, Erin serves clients in Washtenaw, Oakland, and Wayne counties.
